Insight Global is seeking a Network Administrator – Nightwatch for a client in Virginia Beach, VA. The role ensures 24/7 network availability within the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC), operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure.

The Panama shift schedule runs 6 PM–6 AM with rotating weeks, requiring evening, night, and weekend availability. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 per year with benefits starting day one, including medical, dental,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4 years, or High School Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain uninterrupted operation of LAN, WAN, and VPN.
Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation or reconfiguration of data and voice hardware/software.
Troubleshoot WAN/LAN issues: circuits, equipment, routers/switches, firewall ACLs, VoIP devices, cryptographic keys.
Coordinate with Navy, DISA, and commercial carriers for circuit implementation and fault resolution.
Ensure Information Assurance via IOS upgrades, device changes, and firewall ACL verifications.
Monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning.
Develop and maintain network documentation and SOPs.
Propose cost-effective network design enhancements based on usage and future needs.
Coordinate third-party maintenance and restoration at remote sites.
