Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA, is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for full-time night shifts. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, delivery of respiratory therapies for adults and neonates, and support across ICU, PCU, and labor/delivery units.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• Experience in neonatal respiratory care or department orientation with competencies.
• Registered by NBRC and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP; active practice in adult and neonatal areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and general/critical care respiratory procedures.
• Provides respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery.
• Performs blood gas analysis and interpretation.
• Maintains and manages equipment; educates patients and families.
