Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required.
• Prior experience in neonatal respiratory care or completion of a department‑specific orientation is needed.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care required.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and manage ventilators.
• Provide respiratory support for newborns in Labor and Delivery.
• Analyze and interpret blood gases and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care.
