Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Reviews patient questionnaires and histories to identify contraindications and ensure safety.
• Operates MRI and processing equipment, following safety guidelines.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams.
• Maintains MRI safety zones and verifies readiness before scans.
• Documents clinical history and correlates with exam findings for radiologist.
• Maintains inventory and sterility of MRI supplies and equipment.
• Verifies orders and patient identification prior to procedures.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal imaging.
• Monitors equipment and reports issues promptly.
• Provides patient instructions during and after exams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
