Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking an MRI Technologist in Florida for full-time employment. The role focuses on obtaining high-quality MRI images, patient safety, and seamless operation of PACS and related systems.

Ideal candidates will hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT MR certification, and FL state licensure, with 1 year of MRI experience (3 years preferred). The position includes evenings, nights, and weekend shifts with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts (head, neck, body, MSK, spine).
• 1 year minimum MRI experience; 3 years preferred.
• FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
• ARRT (MR) required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality MRI images following established scanning protocols and adjust protocols as required.
• Operate MRI scanner safely and screen patients for contraindications.
• Perform necessary computer operations (Meditech and PACS); verify referring physician orders and proper charges.
• Render patient care professionally and courteously.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain inventory, cleanliness, and supplies.
• Obtain IV access and administer contrast agents.
• Review exams for technical quality and annotate images; verify with PACS.
• Assist PACS Administrator and MRI Supervisor with PACS cleanup.
• Maintain confidentiality of employees and patient information.
