Job summary

Mercy Hospital of Buffalo (Catholic Health) is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures and related clerical duties with a focus on patient safety and quality imaging. Role requires ARRT(R) or ARMRIT eligibility, MRI program graduate, and adherence to NYSDOH, JC, and OSHA guidelines.

The position supports nights with weekend and holiday rotation, with shifts 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and requires after hire training to achieve MR certification timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and/or MRI program; ARRT eligible.
• Current ARRT (R) certification or ARMRIT eligibility for MRI.
• Within 18 months post-hire, obtain MR certification (ARRT MR or ARMRIT).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and related clerical tasks.
• Follow NYSDOH, JC, OSHA MRI safety guidelines and screening procedures.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotations as required by site.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate contrast agent handling.
