Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Mold Setter/Machine Operator for third shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7am) in a U.S. manufacturing environment.

Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour with a $0.75 per hour shift differential, and benefits begin on day one with weekly pay. Responsibilities include setting up molds, connecting water lines for cooling, adjusting presses, and maintaining safety across production lines.

Qualifications

• Mold setting experience preferred.
• Processing and setting molds experience preferred.
• Machine operator experience required.
• Ability to read and understand product and equipment caution or information labels.

Responsibilities

• Assist to set scheduled molds in presses for production and sample orders.
• Connect up all water lines to molds to ensure proper cooling.
• Set all switches on presses after molds are properly set for cycling.
• Properly set safety bars and switches.
• Set mold protection on presses to prevent damage.
• Spray molds and remove from presses with care to avoid damage.
• Clean up excess equipment and supplies.
• Hang molds in press with care to avoid damaging components.
• Clamp molds between platens ensuring secure clamps.
• Ensure all water lines are properly connected without loops.
• Carefully manage hoses, clamps, bolts to extend mold life.
• Housekeeping: keep mold supply cage organized.
• Verify safety bars and switches function correctly.
