The MICU population includes sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure. The unit operates a 28-bed ICU across two units with a 1:2 patient ratio, and floats may be required within scope.

Qualifications

• Epic experience required in MICU settings.
• Prior charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to manage ventilated patients and lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care to MICU patients with multi-system issues.
• Monitor vitals, ventilators, arterial/central lines and infusions.
