Job summary

Sam's Club in Florence, SC is hiring a retail associate to deliver member-focused service, stock merchandise, and support store operations. You will assist customers with purchases, locate items, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

Additionally, you will supervise associates in assigned areas, participate in training, and help implement standard procedures to meet company guidelines and open-door policy. Competitive hourly wage and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months retail experience.
• 6 months customer service experience.
• Leading a team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs, guiding self-service tech, assisting purchases, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting Walmart/Sam's Club products and services.
• Assist management with supervising associates, assign duties, train on processes, provide direction, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Receive and stock supplies, organize sales floor, complete paperwork and logs.
• Maintain safety via safety sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous material handling, and incident reporting.
• Maintain visual merchandising and pricing, stock and set up displays, manage returns and shrink.
• Oversee club pick-up orders, ensure correct selection and staging per policy.
• Develop and implement processesCollaborate with managers and partners to meet business needs and drive improvements.
• Promote compliance with policies and ethical standards; support Open Door Policy.
