Job summary

Sandstone Care in Crownsville, Maryland is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support adolescents through their recovery journey. This full-time night shift role combines direct client care with therapeutic activity support and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will help create a safe, trauma-informed environment, document progress, and ensure confidentiality and compliance while driving client transport as needed. CPR certification is preferred or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college or 1 year of human services experience required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in psychology/behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide clients during therapeutic and recreational activities.
• Respond to incidents using de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure consistent care.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and safety compliance.
• Provide trauma-informed care to support clients with behavioral health needs.
