Aventura at Humility House in Youngstown, OH is hiring compassionate Medication Technicians to join our Assisted Living team. The Med Tech safely administers medications and supports residents with daily living needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Medication Technician certification as required by applicable regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as permitted by applicable regulations and facility policies.
• Accurately document medication administration and resident responses.
• Follow medication schedules and physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain accurate medication records and follow medication-storage procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other care team members.
• Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
• Promote resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
