Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Medical Technologist I for the Core Lab Department on third shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The role includes performing routine and complex laboratory analyses and maintaining quality control in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology, with ASCP MLT certification preferred and laboratory experience preferred. A $4000 service bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory analyses following protocols.
• Maintain quality control and ensure accurate test results.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain core lab equipment.
• Communicate results and provide interpretation within scope of training.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
