Job summary

Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking a Part-Time Night shift Registered Nurse for the Med Surg (3 South) unit. The role involves direct patient care, assessment, planning and collaboration with the interprofessional team in an acute care setting.

The position requires RN licensure, a nursing diploma or associate's degree, with preferred BSN. Experience is not required. Benefits eligible with shift differential and a sign-on bonus up to $7,500.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing.
• Licenses & Certifications: RN.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver.
