Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Med/Surg Charge Nurse for the night shift. This full-time role supports nursing leadership, patient flow, and staff coordination in a busy unit.

The job offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and relocation assistance, with requirements including an associate degree or nursing diploma, NM license, and CPR/BLS certifications. Experience as a charge nurse or hospital leadership is preferred.

Qualificações

• Require Associate Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• 1 year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital or more than 1 year clinical/management experience.
• CPR certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days).
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty.
• Preferred: National Certification in specialty care.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including management of patients and staff in the assigned area.
• Manages efficient patient flow and appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with unit managers/directors to develop and revise unit policies and protocols.
• Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
