Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. is seeking a Med/Surg Charge Nurse for night shift in Albuquerque, NM.

Eligible candidates hold an Associate degree in Nursing, NM license, BLS, and at least one year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (or diploma) required.
• Active NM nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days).
• BLS certification required or obtained within 14 days of hire.
• One year of Charge Nurse experience in a hospital setting (or more).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing team and manage the practice of professional nursing.
• Ensure safe patient care and monitor patient flow on the unit.
• Collaborate with unit managers and physicians to optimize care and policies.
• Coordinate daily operations and act as liaison with patients, providers, and staff.
