Main responsibilities of a Manager in Charge: To run the total store when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.

Position Accountabilities:
  • Follow and enforce all company policies and programs.
  • Complete regular store walks, beginning with the outside and continuing through all grocery and perishable departments inside. Departments must be fully stocked and ready for sales.
  • Ensure the total store is organized and clean, inside and outside.
  • Ensure the total store is merchandised to company standards.
  • Report any and all associate or guest problems or concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Train and develop associates for future company needs, and hold all associates accountable for doing their jobs.
  • Perform and accurately complete ordering functions.
  • Maintain pricing accuracy.
  • Be available to guests and associates.
  • Follow up on jobs you delegate.
  • Utilize your staff to have the store up to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager's standards before you leave at night.
