Job summary

The Black Horse Pike Regional School District is seeking a Night Foreman at Timber Creek High School in Erial, NJ. The role oversees custodial maintenance, coordinates with the Building Foreman, and ensures a safe, clean environment for learning. Responsibilities include budgeting, supervising staff, and responding to emergencies.

Salary is based on experience with health and related benefits. The position runs July 1 to June 30 annually, with renewal by Board action, and requires a Black Seal

Qualifications

• Prior plant cleaning and supervision experience required.
• Documented evidence of success in performing listed tasks.
• Black seal boiler license required within one year of employment.
• Valid NJ Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with the Building Foreman to establish priority for cleaning and minor maintenance.
• Tour building regularly to ensure work is satisfactory and schedule corrections as needed.
• Develop annual budget for cleaning and minor maintenance with supervisor.
• Arrange and perform preventative maintenance with maintenance staff.
• Maintain payroll information and report shortages to supervisor.
• Supervise custodial and maintenance personnel.
• Attend to emergencies, including holidays and weekends.
• Train cleaning staff and minor maintenance workers.
• Oversee safety devices and periodic floor maintenance.
• Oversee replacement of lighting tubes and bulbs.
• Supervise summer and recess cleaning programs.
• Assist outside use of facilities per supervisor instructions.
