Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor for several hours, including repetitive lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Most items weigh under 20 lbs; occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work extended hours on short notice during irregular operation.
• Ability to receive clearance from USPIS (postal inspection service).
• Male applicants must be registered on the Selective Service System and provide the number.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading and delivery of truck and aircraft containers.
• Stacking of packages, mail bags and mail totes into floor level containers.
• Pull rolling equipment across warehouse floor; requires pulling empty and loaded equipment.
• Load/unload mail from rolling equipment and floor-level containers.
• Unload and load trailers with rolling equipment.
