Job summary

QAS Quantem Aviation Services, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support mail and cargo handling. This part-time role supports loading and unloading postal mail, containers, and freight, and requires attention to safety and accuracy. PM shifts are 6pm–10pm, six days per week; hours may change.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
• Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload postal bulk mail carts and containers.
• Build up and break down of freight as applicable.
• Properly and safely load and unload mail, including build up and break down of containers following guidelines.
• Organize mail within the warehouse according to the base storage plan.
• Verify upon receipt delivery from/to customer shipment pieces, weight, dimensions and airworthiness.
