PCC Aerostructures, a leading aerospace components manufacturer, is seeking a Machinist – Level 2 to operate 2-5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines in Arlington, TX. You will perform basic machine setup, load programs and offsets, and use precision inspection tools to verify parts. A high school diploma is required; 2-4 years experience; machinist certificate preferred.

Building upon level 1, with minimal assistance, the Machinist – Level 2 operates 2-5 axis CNC machine cells as well as standalone machines, which requires basic machine setup including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, as well as loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets. The Machinist – Level 2 competencies include the ability to use more advanced quality inspection tools and techniques such as height and air gauges and bench inspection. The Machinist – Level 2 will have basic competencies in print reading and common CNC G and M codes. Typically 2-4 years of experience.
The Machinist – Level 2 will report to the Operations Supervisor.
