Job summary

PACS seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care setting. This full-time role focuses on delivering quality care, maintaining policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance under the direction of Nursing leadership.

The position emphasizes charting accuracy, medication administration, and collaboration with other departments to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Must have nursing degree or be graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Experience supervising CNAs in long-term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of CNAs.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise Nursing Service procedures and QA activities.
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation per policy.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and staff.
