Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center is seeking an LVN for the Acute Locked Psychiatric Unit in Corona, CA. The role involves delivering nursing care to patients with serious mental illness on a weekend night schedule (Sat/Sun 7:00pm-7:30am) and coordinating with the Charge Nurse as needed.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the LVN will contribute to treatment plans, documentation, and patient safety while supporting the hospital's mission within a large UHS network.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, terminology and charting.
• Two years of experience with serious mental illness, inpatient preferred.
• Assaultive Behavior Management Training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with serious mental illness.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse and Nurse Manager on patient plans.
• Document care and ensure patient safety in acute psychiatric unit.
