Job summary

Healthcare Staffing Professionals seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a home health facility in Marshall, MO. The role involves providing direct patient care to three clients, including ADLs, trach care, and medication administration, with a schedule of 6pm–6am Thursday through Saturday and alternating Wednesdays.

Requirements include an active LPN license and current BLS, strong communication, and proven trach care experience.

Qualifications

• Active state LPN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Good communication and patient-care skills.
• MUST have trach care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing direct care for 3 clients with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, bed making, shaving, dressing).
• Check vital signs, height and weight; maintain fluid intake/output records; report client condition.
• Perform daily and as-needed trach care including inner cannula changes and suctioning.
• Manage humidification and apply HME before showers or outings.
• Care for g-tube and suprapubic catheter.
• Administer nebulizer treatments and monitor blood glucose; administer insulin if needed.
• Possibly pass medications to all individuals in the home.
