BriteLife Recovery in Hanover, PA is seeking an LPN or RN to join our mission-centered behavioral health team. You will promote a safe, therapeutic environment, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with documentation and data entry within an EHR.
• Experience working with alcohol or substance use treatment preferred.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to assess needs and deliver nursing services to individuals detoxifying from substance use.
• Knowledge of strategies for treating alcohol, cocaine, and other drug use.
• Knowledge of medication-assisted therapy.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Administer medications, treatments and procedures according to standard nursing practices.
• Maintain a plan of care and medication orders from Physicians and Nurse Practitioners.
• Educate clients regarding side effects and monitor reactions.
• Monitor clients for withdrawal symptoms.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR).
• Provide crisis management as needed.
• Promote BriteLife Recovery to prospective clients and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy.
