Job summary

Maplewood at Orange LLC in Orange, CT is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a per diem night shift (11pm-7am). The role supports the Resident Services Director in delivering nursing services across the community and ensuring high-quality care for residents.

The ideal candidate is a CT-licensed LPN with at least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with older adults, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. Join a team dedicated to a home-like, luxury living environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the CT state.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience and/or interest working with older adults.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration.
• Direct care and service to residents.
• Teaching and wellness counseling.
• Health promotion activities.
• Assist in assessments under supervision of RN.
• Support of residents and families, coordination of care.
• Oversight of assistants and staff training.
• Complete monthly in-service training as required.
