Southern Health Partners is seeking an LPN for night shifts at the Surry County Jail in North Carolina. You will deliver patient care, administer medications, monitor conditions, and collaborate with RNs, providers, and custody staff to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires an active North Carolina LPN license, CPR certification, and a willingness to work a rotating schedule including every other weekend. Prior corrections experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
• Correctional or related nursing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments.
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to medical needs.
• Assisting with sick call and chronic care clinics.
• Performing intake screenings and health assessments.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and medical records.
• Collaborating with RNs, providers, and custody staff to ensure continuity of care.
