Job summary

Centurion Health in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Maryland Correctional Training Center (MCTC) in Hagerstown, MD 21746.

The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical staff, addressing a range of physical and behavioral health needs. Active Maryland LPN license and CPR/BLS required; corrections experience preferred; security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
