Job summary

Open Arms Care in Tennessee seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for third shift with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. In this role, you will provide compassionate nursing care, support clients' health and safety, and train staff. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Tennessee LPN license, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical demands. Qualifications

• Licensure: Current and valid Tennessee LPN license.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift/reposition up to 50 lbs.
• Sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments.
• Accurately record vital signs, observations, and medical documentation.
• Assist physicians and support medical appointments.
• Train and support staff and clients in health-related areas.
• Respond to and evaluate client emergencies, taking appropriate action.
• Manage controlled substances and medication storage per state/facility guidelines.
