Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a skilled LDRP Nurse to provide direct perinatal care in our busy unit. You’ll welcome patients, support antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, and contribute to a compassionate team that values work-life balance.

Requirements include Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and at least one year in Labor and Delivery; we offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation eligibility, competitive benefits, and career growth within

Qualifications

Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse License.
BLS or BCLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
ACLS or ACLS certification.
S.T.A.B.L.E. certification – preferred not required.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
One+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome perinatal patients to the LDRP Unit and establish a secure, confident care plan for mother and baby.
Demonstrate clinical expertise in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient condition, fetal monitoring, and diagnostic results.
Perform nursing duties across the Maternal Child health continuum of care.
Participate in department process improvement activities.
