Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Laboratory experience or medical terminology familiarity preferred.
• Experience with specimen processing and accessioning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process specimens ensuring integrity and correct patient identification.
• Verify specimens matches test orders and perform accessioning in the computer system.
• Confirm patient records per guidelines and make corrections as needed.
