Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Lab Assistant in Dublin, OH, to receive and sort clinical lab specimens, prepare samples for testing, and maintain accurate records. The role contributes to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment in a fast-paced production setting.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED; preferred candidates have 3+ months of specimen processing and/or medical/lab experience. Shift: Thu–Sat nights with holidays; pay range $17.75–$22.00 per hour plus differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards
