Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform pre-analytical processes for lab specimen collection and processing. You will support client experience, quality, and safety while following all lab and safety policies.

The role includes a night shift schedule of 7 on / 7 off and potential moves between lab locations as needed. A high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training are required or preferred, with ACLS/PALS certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy training course required or preferred.
• ACLS certification, preferred.
• PALS certification, preferred.
• Criminal background check, drug screening, and health/immunizations screening may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• The Laboratory Assistant performs pre-analytical processes associated with collection and processing of laboratory specimens.
• Demonstrates a commitment to client experience, quality, and safety; applies knowledge of laboratory operations to assist clients in utilizing laboratory services.
• May be moved amongst laboratory locations as needed.
• Night shift schedule: 7 on 7 off.
