Job summary

Great Falls Clinic Hospital in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to perform pre-analytical specimen collection and processing, ensuring accuracy and safety in every step. Qualifications

Position Overview

The Laboratory Assistant performs pre-analytical processes associated with collection and processing of laboratory specimens. Demonstrates a commitment to client experience, quality, and safety. Applies knowledge of laboratory operations to assist clients in utilizing laboratory services. Complies with all laboratory and safety policies. Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork are essential. May be moved amongst laboratory locations as needed.

The schedule for this position is a night shift role 7 on x 7 off

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy training course

Experience

• 6+ months phlebotomy experience

License/Certifications

• Current drivers license
• ACLS certification, preferred
• PALS certification, preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job.
• Interpersonal and communication skills required
