Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Allentown is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for the part-time night shift (20 hours/week). You will order and control inventory in designated areas, enter transactions, and keep par levels and shelf labels up to date.

This role requires attention to figures, basic computer skills, and experience with inventory control. The position offers a shift differential and supporting hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent; exceptions may apply for students still in high school.
• Prior computer experience preferred.
• Inventory control background.

Responsibilities

• Order and control inventory in assigned areas.
• Ensure adequate stock turnover rate.
• Enter issues, returns and credits into the computer for all supplies and linen.
• Expedite items out of stock or low stock; communicate status to supervisors and departments.
• Update Par Stock papers.
• Maintain proper shelf labels in designated areas.
• Files requisitions and reports in an orderly manner.
• Handle Linen per Hospital Policy and Infection Control standards.
• Maintain neat and orderly area according to EOC/DOH/JCACHO requirements.
• Assist with recalls, evaluations, and product conversions.
