Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist to control freight and inventory levels at our Denver, CO facility. The role supports warehouse management with accurate cycle counts, reporting, and coordination across departments to maintain a continuous flow of information.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of warehousing experience (3–4 years preferred), and the ability to operate a 10-key touchpad, lifting 50–70 lbs and working in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1 year warehousing experience.
• Prefer 3-4 years of warehouse experience.
• Must be able to operate a 10-key touchpad.
• Must be able to lift 50-70 lbs and work in varying conditions.
• Certified on warehouse equipment, possibly forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect produce at the dock to ensure quality and quantity.
• Perform daily cycle counts for frozen, cooler, and dry products.
• Keep Warehouse Manager/Supervisor informed of potential problems and changes.
• Complete inventory and warehouse reports daily.
• Assist and coordinate all physical inventories as called for under SYGMA guidelines and directives.
• Interface with purchasing, warehouse, inventory, and customer service to ensure information flow.
• Adhere to cycle count program and HACCP/MSDS guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
