Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a full-time, onsite Warehouse Inventory Associate in Hampshire, IL. You will perform cycle counts, adjust inventory in the WMS, and help maintain product location accuracy while complying with safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate MHE under supervision. Responsibilities include processing returns and recalls, tracking shelf life, and communicating issues to supervision for timely action.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year warehouse related experience or training.
• Intermediate math and proficient computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly cycle counts to ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory and product data.
• Make accurate cycle count adjustments in the WMS as required.
• Communicate potential inventory losses (expiration, temp issues) to supervision for timely action.
• Correct mis-located products and document any incidents.
• Research Lost Pallet Reports and verify losses.
• Determine inventory adjustments and input data into WMS for planning.
• Review product activity across systems to ensure net position accuracy.
• Retrieve and store stray product as needed.
• Process outbound returns, donations, recalls, salvages and other shipments as required.
• Review OS&D forms for completeness and accuracy.
• Approve OS&D forms after verification.
• Retrieve shelf life data and communicate expiry information appropriately.
• Work with supervisor to minimize warehouse shrink.
• Maintain neat and clean work area.
• Report safety issues and follow safety rules.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely and maintain equipment.
