Job summary

Schneider National is seeking experienced intermodal drivers to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. The position covers routes in AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN, with 99% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.

Drivers earn mileage and load pay, plus hourly pay when on duty, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months for experienced drivers and paid orientation. Additional benefits include paid time off after 6 months, 6 paid holidays per year, and an annual bonus of

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• HazMat endorsement strongly preferred; required within 90 days of hire.
• Live within 100 miles of Fairburn, GA; minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Drive within AL, FL, GA, NC, SC and TN.
• Maintain on-time delivery with predominantly no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.
