Job summary

UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for the HRH Pharmacy. This is a full-time, onsite position with nights and a schedule of 80 hours per pay period.

You will ensure medications are prescribed, dispensed, and administered according to best practices, provide drug information and counseling to patients, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize care.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required in Pharmacy from an accredited school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
• Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
