Job summary

Medical City Dallas seeks a Seasonal Registered Nurse for its ICU to deliver patient-centered care within the department’s standards. The RN collaborates with physicians and a care team to implement care plans, document progress, educate families, and support ongoing quality initiatives during the seasonal period.

The role requires an RN with an Associate Degree and ACLS/BCLS certification within 30 days of start, plus at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start
• (RN) Registered Nurse with Associate Degree
• 1+ year ICU experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Documents care in the patient medical record promptly and accurately.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient recovery.
• Supports evidence-based practices and continuous improvement to meet quality measures.
