Job summary

ICC Healthcare is seeking an acute care physician assistant to join Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. The role centers on ICU care within a 24-bed Medical/Surgical ICU, providing critical care under the supervision of an MD on call.

Night shift, 7p–7a, with a 3–5 day block schedule, and a collaborative team of two APPs on nights. Candidates should hold an acute care PA certification and be proficient in central and arterial line placement, intubations, and mechanical ventilation

Qualifications

• Acute care certification for PAs.
• Full-time position with night shift 7pm–7am.
• Experience with central and arterial line placement, intubations, and mechanical ventilation management.
• 3–5 day block scheduling.
• Ability to work with 2 APPs on nights with MD on call.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 24-bed Medical/Surgical ICU.
• Perform routine Critical Care procedures and assist in procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with physicians and support staff to ensure patient safety.
