Job summary

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking PRN acute care physician assistants to join Doctors' of Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA. Qualified candidates must be credentialed to perform routine critical care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation, and be able to carry a minimum patient load of 8–10 per shift.

The ICU is 24 beds with 24/7 coverage (MDs & PAs) and 12‑hour day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed to perform central line placement.
• Proficient with thoracentesis and arterial line placement.
• Ability to manage mechanical ventilation and sedation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 ICU coverage with MDs and PAs.
• Maintain 8–10 patient load per shift in a 24-bed unit.
• Support privileging, enrollment, and billing processes as needed.

Job Summary:

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking PRN acute care physician assistants to join Doctors' of Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA.

Qualified Candidates:

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Physician Assistant providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, thoracentesis, intubations and management of mechanical ventilation, work independently, and be able to carry a minimum patient load of 8-10 patients per shift.

• 24-bed ICU

• 24/7 coverage - 1 MD & 1 Physician Assistant day/ 2 Physician Assistants night with MD call coverage

• Ability to work PRN, 2-4 shifts per month

• Mix of days and nights, 12 hour shifts
