Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Supplemental Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU at our Katy facility during night shifts.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, order and interpret diagnostics, and collaborate closely with intensivists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, evidence-based, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Advanced critical care nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to assess complex ICU patients and develop care plans.
• Proficiency in ordering/interpreting diagnostics.
• Experience collaborating with intensivists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage ventilated and unstable patients; respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill adults in ICU.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and monitor responses.
• Collaborate with intensivists, nurses and teams to optimize outcomes.
