Job summary

UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Nights Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to support Critical Care Medicine at UPMC Presbyterian and Magee-Womens Hospital. The role emphasizes management of critically ill patients with primary night ICU coverage and CCM APP support across ICUs.

Responsibilities include procedures such as intubation and central/arterial lines, with collaboration among the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• CRNP or PA licensure required.
• Experience in critical care or ICU settings preferred.
• Ability to work nights and manage critically ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the ICU during night shifts.
• Perform procedures including intubation, central lines, arterial lines.
• Provide day and night coverage in collaboration with the CCM team.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other health care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
