Job summary

Virtua Medical Group is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our ICU team. The position is suited for an experienced APP (3–5 years) who can manage complex, critically ill patients with strong clinical judgment and independence on the overnight shift.

You will provide comprehensive overnight management within the ICU and work closely with intensivists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of APP ICU experience.
• Ability to manage critically ill patients and work independently.
• Strong clinical judgment and collaboration with the ICU team.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing patient assessment, interpretation of diagnostic studies, development and implementation of treatment plans, and responding to acute changes in patient status.
• Maintain continuity of care, address emergent clinical issues, and support safe patient management overnight.
• Collaborate with intensivists and the multidisciplinary ICU team to ensure timely, evidence‑based care and optimal patient outcomes.
