Job summary

Corewell Health’s Wayne Hospital ICU seeks a registered nurse to provide high-acuity care in a 1:1–1:2 nursing model. You’ll apply nursing processes, collaborate with families, and implement comprehensive care plans in a Magnet-designated setting.

The role requires an RN license in Michigan, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a commitment to ongoing certification. Night shift, full-time schedule, and unit-specific responsibilities are outlined above.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• Graduate from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least 1 year of acute care or 2 years in licensed health care role and pass NCLEX.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per ANA scope of practice and patient-family centered care principles.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Document education and learning in health records.
