Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing and medical care to critically ill cardiac patients in the ICU. The NP performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, and initiates and manages therapeutic interventions.

You will coordinate care in collaboration with the cardiovascular critical care team, operating under Georgia Nurse Protocols and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Licensed as an advanced practice nurse in Georgia and certified by ANCC.
• ACNP or AGACNP certification required; refer to Medical Staff Guidelines for applicable credentials.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing and medical care to critically ill cardiac patients in the ICU.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and establish medical diagnoses.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; initiate and manage therapies.
• Coordinate care in collaboration with the cardiovascular critical care team.
