Job summary
Banner Health, in partnership with University of Arizona Health Network, is recruiting new graduates for a Hospitalist Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the hospitalist team in Tucson, AZ. You will manage inpatient care across admissions, discharges, and ongoing treatment, while receiving strong mentorship from an experienced physician group.
The role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced setting, with opportunities to help shape a new inpatient care model
Qualifications
- For NPs: ACNP certification required.
- For PAs: CAQ in Hospital Medicine preferred.
- Current Board Certification is required.
- Active Arizona License is required.
- Current CPR, BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Prescribing Privileges including DEA license are required.
- Patient-centric team player.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of inpatient care, including admissions, discharges, and ongoing hospital care.
- Work with an experienced physician team, receiving comprehensive support and training.
- Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Contribute to the development of a new inpatient care model.
