Job summary

Visiting Nurse Association of Texas is seeking an ESU Registered Nurse for after-hours hospice care across Dallas and surrounding areas. You will triage, admit patients, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care in patients’ homes or facilities.

The role requires a Texas RN license, 1+ year of RN experience, and a valid TX driver’s license. VNA offers strong benefits, retirement plan, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current Texas RN license and valid TX driver’s license.
• Hospice experience preferred; one year RN care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-hours nursing care in patients’ homes or facilities.
• Triage, admissions, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure infection control and compliance with payor and VNA policies.
• Support daily operations and documentation for hospice care.
