Job summary

AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a dedicated environmental services team member to keep patient and public areas clean and safe. You will collect trash, stock supplies, disinfect surfaces, and follow infection control standards in a hospital setting.

The role requires English communication, basic computer skills, and strong customer service. A High School Grad and healthcare housekeeping experience are preferred; a night shift is included with competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic safety procedures and infection control
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment
• Basic computer skills and standard office software
• Strong customer service and patient interaction
• Read and understand Safety Data Sheets and product labels
• Follow oral and written assignments and environmental duties
• Healthcare environmental services experience preferred
• Additional language abilities are a plus

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned patient and public areas daily and dispose of waste
• Stock supplies in assigned areas and maintain cleanliness
• Operate cleaning equipment and maintain work areas
• Disinfect areas containing bodily fluids per facility standards
• Document all work performed
• Access ancillary units, restrooms, and offices as needed
