Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Health Unit Coordinator course preferred.
• 1+ year hospital experience as health unit coordinator or similar.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Place medications in a secure area on arrival to the floor.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Document patient data in charts and electronic records in a timely manner.
• Interact with patients across ages, acuity, and cultures with professionalism.
